About The Position

Performing Arts Center (PAC) Technician Qualifications/Experience: Strong knowledge of soundboards, microphones, amplifiers, lighting consoles, dimming systems, and related technology. Technical theater operations preferred. Training available. Successful background check required, if over 18. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Needed: Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. Strong organziational and communciation skill: ability to work collaboratively. Specific Tasks: Operate, set up, and stike sound, lighting, and projection equipment for performances, rehersals, and events. Assist with some stage setup. Provide on-site technical support during performances, including troubleshooting and quick problem resolution. Support other facility users and community rentals with technical set-up and operations.
