About The Position

Performs routine building maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures. Assists in a wide variety of maintenance activities; addresses immediate operational and/or safety concerns; and ensures that tools, materials and vehicles are maintained in good working order. Performs activities under direct supervision. We are looking for a talented Facilities Technician to join our Distribution business in (San Leandro, CA). We offer competitive pay and benefits! Responsibilities

Maintains safe work habits and actions in all aspects of daily tasks, evaluating reactive work for safety issues and planning projects to address safety concerns.
Utilizes software to track, assign, and prioritize reactive, planned, preventative, and predictive maintenance work, including building management systems.
Orders supplies from various vendors and assists in managing spare parts inventories.
Performs work in a variety of conditions, such as extreme heat, cold, and moisture.
Maintains housekeeping and safety in work areas, including upkeep of exterior yard areas, pit and sump clean/repair.
Conducts minor repairs including plumbing in restrooms, dock drains, floor repairs, carpet and tile repair, ceiling and light fixture installations, and wall repairs (drywall installation, patching, painting).
Operates and maintains vehicle equipment such as forklifts, golf carts, etc.
Uses powered hand tools (drills, grinders, porta-band) based on job needs.
