About The Position

The Facilities Technician is responsible for ensuring the functionality, safety, and appearance of the company's facilities. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with other team members to create a well-maintained working environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
  • Hold a valid and active driver’s license without restrictions.
  • Provide proof of automobile liability insurance upon hiring and semi-annually thereafter.
  • Maintain a record of no more than one (1) moving traffic violation within the preceding two years.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a diverse range of maintenance repairs, encompassing minor electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks.
  • Address building-related issues such as unclogging drains, toilets, and sinks.
  • Conduct carpet and upholstery cleaning duties/repairs with precision.
  • Supervise landscape maintenance and oversee related tasks.
  • Maintain and repair existing carpentry work to uphold quality standards.
  • Facilitate the movement/transport of commercial/medical equipment (at times over 200 lbs.).
  • Arranging and verifying completion of repairs when outside scope of maintenance position (i.e. licensed plumbing, electrical, roofing, hvac, gensets, etc.).
  • Maintain regular, reliable, and punctual attendance in accordance with company policies and departmental scheduling requirements.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
