About The Position

Under general supervision of the Facilities Manager and in conformance with established policies and procedures, the Facilities Technician is responsible for the maintenance repairs of bank properties and equipment, and related functions.

Requirements

  • Two or more years of maintenance experience, preferable in a large commercial building environment.
  • Knowledge of and experience in at least one area of maintenance: plumbing, painting, carpentry, or electrical work.
  • A high school degree or GED is required.
  • Must possess current valid driver’s license.
  • Working knowledge of standard office equipment. Basic computer skill with working knowledge or ability to learn various office software.

Responsibilities

  • Provide prompt and courteous service to all internal and external customers, supporting the goals and mission of the bank.
  • On a regular rotating schedule, do a visual structural damage and security check for main bank. Report all problems to the Facilities Manager or Security Officer.
  • Perform safety check of boiler and air handler systems as scheduled by the Facilities Manager, including weekends and holidays, to make sure it is operating properly. Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure its proper operation and report problems to the Facilities Manager.
  • Stay up to date with maintenance computer programs including MaintainX, HVAC Metasys, Lighting programs, and fire suppression system.
  • Perform maintenance duties including, but not limited to plumbing, painting, carpentry, and electrical work. Order janitorial, kitchen, and maintenance supplies.
  • Clean sidewalks, parking lots, and grounds all year and in all types of weather conditions, including snow removal on main bank properties using a plow, shovel, or snow blower. Mow and trim grass, maintain the irrigation system, and complete other duties related to landscaping and lawn work.
  • Occasionally design and build structural bank equipment (i.e., carts, bulletin boards, etc.) Move and arrange desks, furniture, and partitions as needed.
  • Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned by the Facilities Manager. Assist additional branch locations as time allows.
