About The Position

This role will support three buildings for L3Harris, two in Plano and one in Richardson. The Facilities Technician C is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the facility's structure, equipment, and grounds, covering all trades including mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC. The role involves conducting routine, periodic, or special inspections to identify and address necessary repair and maintenance work to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience
  • 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0-2 years of prior related experience.
  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications.
  • Must be able to obtain a US Security Clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Existing US Security Clearance
  • LOTO Training
  • Knowledge of MES controls system
  • Electrician (Journeyman / Master)
  • Experience working in a manufacturing / Office environment.
  • Good communication skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Facilities structure maintenance (doors, windows, furniture, etc.)
  • Repairing / replacing electrical lighting, plugs, and switches.
  • Adjusting HVAC controls for air flow and temperature changes.
  • Minor plumbing repairs.
  • Moving and setting up offices.
  • Setting up conference rooms for meetings
  • Monthly Equipment PM / Inspections
