About The Position
Arthrex, Inc. is a global medical device company and a leader in new product development and medical education in orthopedics. Arthrex Manufacturing Inc. is actively searching for a night shift (Mon - Thu - 7:30 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.) Facilities Supervisor for the Pendleton, SC location. The successful candidate will assist in the planning and execution of maintenance, renovations, and general repairs of grounds, commercial and industrial buildings. Join our talented team at a global medical device company focused on Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better™ Main Objective: The Facilities Supervisor will assist in the planning and execution of maintenance, renovations, and general repairs of grounds, commercial and industrial buildings. The position entails responding to work orders regarding electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting or mechanical services as needed to support manufacturing.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree or 7 years of direct Supervisory experience in facilities maintenance and care required
- Broad knowledge in electrical, mechanical, HVAC and other building maintenance.
- Knowledge and working experience with security and life-safety systems.
- Experience with Property Conservation programs including fire system testing and maintenance.
Nice To Haves
- Experienced in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and Outlook.
- Experience with Auto Cad desirable.
Responsibilities
- Provides hands-on supervision and guidance to the facilities and custodial personnel.
- Utilizes Work order software to organize and maintain work load.
- Performs frequent evaluations of the Arthrex complex to ensure the highest level of care and appearance.
- Manages the contractor and vendor relationships and documentation.
- Fosters a work environment that emphasizes the implementation of quality and safety practices.
- Assists in maintaining facilities current to federal and state building codes and OSHA regulations.
- Maintains the time and attendance program for all direct reports and perform employee evaluations.
