About The Position

The Facilities Supervisor – ATX South Region is responsible for leading day-to-day maintenance operations across Walters Wedding Estates venues in South Austin and surrounding areas. This role supports venues located in New Braunfels, Boerne, Spring Branch, and Dripping Springs, with periodic support in Lakeway and Georgetown. The Supervisor oversees technicians, coordinates vendors, manages preventive maintenance, ensures safety and compliance, and keeps all venues operational, safe, and wedding-ready at all times. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong organization, accountability, and communication skills.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of facilities, maintenance, or property operations experience
  • 2+ years prior supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Strong working knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, general repairs)
  • Experience working with vendors and contractors
  • Comfortable using CMMS systems (Corrigo or similar preferred)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between venues
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical job duties as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Multi-site facilities experience
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
  • HVAC, electrical, or plumbing trade experience
  • CPR / First Aid certification

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage facilities technicians, schedules, and daily work assignments
  • Remain on-call for emergency facility issues (after hours/weekends, excluding PTO)
  • Assign, review, and close work orders in Corrigo with accurate documentation
  • Ensure completion of preventive maintenance programs across all venues
  • Conduct routine inspections, “Eyes of the Bride” walkthroughs, and quality audits
  • Coordinate vendors and contractors; monitor performance and compliance
  • Ensure all safety, fire, building, and regulatory inspections are completed on time
  • Track labor, materials, and vendor expenses against budget targets
  • Approve timecards, PTO requests, and weekly schedules in Paycom
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and weekly updates for leadership
  • Participate in weekly operations and facilities meetings
  • Support emergency preparedness, safety training, and compliance initiatives
  • Supervise landscaping operations and validate scheduled services
