About The Position

Join CBRE as a Facilities Supervisor and be at the heart of keeping our client's spaces running smoothly and efficiently! In this fast-paced position, you'll lead a skilled team and drive smooth coordination between clients, vendors, and contractors to ensure work orders are completed quickly and effectively. As a key player of our Facilities Management team, you'll oversee critical maintenance and repair activities at our client's headquarters campus - an expansive commercial site of approximately 1 million square feet. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED, along with 5+ years of relevant experience - preferably as an Assistant Facilities Manager.
  • Previous experience working in a campus environment is required.
  • Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong understanding of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within your area of expertise, with foundational knowledge of related functions.
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts and sensitive information clearly and effectively.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and other related tools.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a highly inquisitive, analytical mindset.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities

  • Manage complex vendor relationships and perform evaluations through comprehensive market research and cost-benefit analysis to inform procurement strategies.
  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the facilities coordinator team, including scheduling, task assignment, and cross-training to ensure operational coverage and efficiency.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated communications clients and service providers, ensuring policies, procedures, and reporting standards are clearly understood and consistently applied.
  • Organize and oversee routine maintenance of building equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
  • Analyze work order data and generate performance reports for management, offering recommendations to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Develop and manage cleaning and disinfecting schedules to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
  • Monitor and track both regular and ad-hoc facility expenses to support budget adherence and financial planning.
  • Resolve complex operational issues and identify innovative solutions to meet team objectives.
  • Introduce and implement new techniques or processes to improve team performance and service delivery.
  • Influence both team and cross-functional objectives through effective leadership and collaboration.
  • Ensure all team activities align with and positively impact customer satisfaction and service standards.
  • Lead by example, modeling behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values, and provide guidance and mentorship to team members.
