About The Position

As a Facilities Specialist at Alta Climbing, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of our gym. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, ensuring a positive experience for our members and staff. This is a part-time role.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, such as facilities maintenance, housekeeping, or landscaping.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proactive and problem-solving mindset.
Basic understanding of maintenance and repair procedures.
Ability to lift and move moderate weight (up to 50 lbs).
Must be available to work weekends and evenings as needed.

Responsibilities

Clean climbing surfaces and equipment according to safety standards.
Ensure proper sanitation of restrooms, locker rooms, and common areas.
Empty trash and recycling bins.
Dust furniture, windows, and other surfaces.
Replenish supplies and equipment.
Conduct routine inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential issues.
Report maintenance needs to the Facilities Manager.
Assist with minor repairs and troubleshooting
Perform periodic deep cleaning tasks, including pressure washing, floor scrubbing, and window cleaning.
Clean climbing walls and routes with specialized equipment.
Maintain the grounds and landscaping around the gym.
Water plants, trim bushes, and remove debris.
Be a team player and assist Operations staff members as needed.
Follow all company safety protocols and procedures.
Maintain a professional and positive attitude.
