About The Position

Revolution Medicines is a clinical-stage precision oncology company focused on developing novel targeted therapies to inhibit frontier targets in RAS-addicted cancers. The company’s R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) Inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins, and RAS Companion Inhibitors for use in combination treatment strategies. As a new member of the Revolution Medicines team, you will join other outstanding Revolutionaries in a tireless commitment to patients with cancers harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway. The Opportunity: The Space Planner is responsible for analyzing, planning, and optimizing the use of physical space within facilities to ensure efficient, functional, and cost-effective environments. This role collaborates with facilities engineering, maintenance, site services and cross-functional stakeholders to develop and execute plans that support operational needs and growth projections.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Architecture, Interior Design, Urban Planning, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education with 1-3 years experience.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit or similar space management software.
  • Ability to interpret architectural drawings and floor plans.
  • Ability to sort, analyze, and interpret large datasets to support space planning and decision-making.
  • Prioritizes workloads and manages priority conflicts for individual work.
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Applies acquired job skills and company policies/procedures to complete tasks.
  • MS Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Limited use of technical principles, theories, and concepts.
  • Develop solutions to routine problems of limited scope.
  • Provides excellent customer service with a high level of organizational skills in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Works independently with minimal regular direct supervision.
  • Demonstrates ability to work and communicate professionally, verbally, and in written form with internal and external customers.
  • Handles sensitive and confidential documents and information responsibly and with integrity.
  • Resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways and/or uses a combination of applied company procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed space plans using space planning software.
  • Assist in coordinating employee onboarding and departure processes as they relate to space allocation.
  • Support office moves, reconfigurations, expansions, and consolidations.
  • Coordinate with IT, HR, and Facilities during moves and occupancy changes.
  • Maintain accurate space inventory and occupancy data.
  • Analyze headcount forecasts and translate them into space requirements.
  • Coordinate procurement of furniture and fixtures, including selection, specification, vendor management, and alignment with space standards and budget requirements.
  • Redesign and reconfigure existing spaces to improve utilization, functionality, and efficiency based on occupancy data and evolving business needs.
