About The Position

This position requires an individual with a minimum of 5 -7 years leadership experience along with a proven track record of managing multiple locations for the following service lines; mail, shipping/receiving, copy, switchboard (receptionist) and other related office services, have the ability to identify and resolve potential problems, strong leadership, customer relationship skills, project management, excellent computer skills, along with other duties as assigned. The Operations Manager provides leadership, operational support, ensures TMG Best Practices compliance and client satisfaction. They are responsible for training/educating of employees, monitoring operations budgets (salary) to ensure compliance with organizational expenditure requirements. Under the direct supervision of the Supervisor/ Manager the facilities maintenance associate is responsible for providing exceptional facilities maintenance related duties.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Ability to be on feet over 75% of the work day, climbs ladders, and kneels on a frequent basis.
  • Ability to push/pull carts, and pallets on a frequent basis that may weigh over 100 pounds.
  • Frequent bending and walking throughout large building(s) to ensure necessary work is completed on time and per customer requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Performs routine maintenance to building facilities through the upkeep of non-technical equipment and building systems.
  • Provides routine janitorial and mailroom services as needed/required at the business site.
  • Change filters, lamps, pull computer cabling and other routine facilities support duties.
  • Is trained and uses of such equipment as forklifts, power dollies, pallet movers and hijackers on a routine basis.
  • Provides non-technical assistance to carpentry, electrical, HVAC and plumbing contractors as requested. Assists in the set up and relocation of office equipment throughout the building campus.
  • May assist in coordinating the move of office locations after normal hours to prevent disruption of services to the business unit.
  • Physically breaks down, assembles, and moves equipment, panels and furniture according to instructions from facility planning department.
  • Interacts with all levels of the organization.
  • Responsible for providing resolution of routine customer service requests and inquiries.
  • Maintain a safe and well-groomed external ground area.
  • Interacts with all parts of the organization in responding to routine problems and concerns.
  • Cleans snow and debris from sidewalk and parking lots as needed to prevent accidents.
  • Mows lawns, trims shrubbery, and cultivates flowerbeds as seasonally appropriate.
  • Operates power equipment such as lawnmowers and snow blowers.
  • Depending on location worked, may be responsible for routine transportation needs for the facilities department. Delivers equipment and supplies throughout the campus and to external locations for pick up on a consistent basis. Assists in errands and special projects as required.
