About The Position

This position provides financial, transactional, and process-related support to a project management team that manages the delivery of design and construction projects. The specialist is responsible for accurately entering data into the project management database concerning budgets, in-service dates, contracts, purchase orders (PO), and invoices. The role typically supports small to medium-scale projects and assists in the management and coordination of work, including monitoring project budgets and deliverables. The specialist is also responsible for meeting contractual requirements, maintaining good professional relationships with Sutter Health (SH) affiliates, SH departments, and external vendors, and ensuring all work complies with the Process & Controls Manual (PCM).

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Numerate – able to work with numbers easily
Detail-oriented
Good organizational and time management skills
Critical thinking skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
Good knowledge of project management software
Knowledge of cost accounting or financial system software

Responsibilities
