About The Position

This position provides financial, transactional, and process-related support to a project management team that manages the delivery of design and construction projects. The specialist is responsible for accurately entering data into the project management database, including budgets, in-service dates, contracts, purchase orders (PO), and invoices. The role typically supports small to medium-scale projects and assists in managing and coordinating work, monitoring project budgets and deliverables, meeting contractual requirements, and maintaining professional relationships with Sutter Health affiliates, departments, and external vendors. All work must comply with the Process & Controls Manual (PCM).

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Numerate – able to work with numbers easily.
Detail-oriented.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Critical thinking skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Good knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and project management software.
Knowledge of cost accounting or financial system software.

Responsibilities
