Facilities Patrol Guard $17.06-$20.47 minimum starting pay Job Level: Individual Contributor Shelter maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in geographic location, education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Please remember that this range is the starting base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. What You Will Be Doing: Provide 24/7 coverage at the corporate office and maintain a safe, secure environment for employees, visitors, and property. Monitor access points, patrol the premises, respond to incidents and alarms, and enforce company safety and security policies using clear communication and a customer-focused approach. Due to the duties and responsibilities of this position, a Motor Vehicle Report and Criminal Background Check may be ordered on final candidates. While Shelter employees most commonly follow the “Dress for Your Day Plus” policy outlined in the Employee Handbook, a Patrol Guard follows a more specific dress code Shelter-issued Patrol Guard polo Khaki pants (September-May) Khaki shorts, flat-style, with no cargo pockets (June-August) Work boots, used primarily for walking outside, including walking in inclement weather This position is specifically for a 930 am to 6 pm shift While the main schedule of the Facilities Patrol Guard will follow Shelter's "1st Shift" guidelines, with shifts varying from 7 AM to 6 PM, there may be times where Patrol Guards will have to work specific holidays, based on coverage needs And much more! #IND1# The Shelter Insurance® group of companies is a leader in the insurance industry, providing customers with exceptional insurance and financial products and services.
