About The Position

Jake’s Unlimited is seeking a Facilities Operations Technician to help maintain and elevate one of Arizona’s largest indoor entertainment venues — a 90,000 sq. ft. high-energy facility serving thousands of guests each week. This is not a typical maintenance role. This position plays a critical part in delivering a clean, safe, and fully operations guest experience at all times. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, moves with urgency, and holds a high standard for how a facility should look and operate — someone who sees what others miss and takes ownership to fix it. Requirements

  • 2+ years of facilities or building maintenance experience preferred
  • Experience with basic plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
  • Strong working knowledge of hand and power tools
  • Ability to diagnose issues and complete tasks independently
  • Comfortable using tablets/computers for logs and work orders
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends
  • Take pride in keeping a facility impeccable and guest-ready at all times
  • Stay ahead of problems instead of reacting to them
  • Work with urgency and don’t require constant direction
  • Care about the quality of your work and the environment around you

Nice To Haves

  • HVAC experience or certification
  • Experience in entertainment, hospitality, or large-scale facilities
  • Experience with preventative maintenance programs

Responsibilities

  • Execute both preventative and corrective maintenance across the facility (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, general repairs)
  • Own daily facility walkthroughs to proactively identify and resolve maintenance and safety issues
  • Maintain and troubleshoot lighting, HVAC support systems, restrooms, and kitchen equipment
  • Respond quickly and effectively to operational and guest-impacting issues
  • Support and execute preventative maintenance programs
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment at all times
  • Accurately complete maintenance logs, inspections, and work orders
  • Support Lead Mechanic and Game Technicians with projects and repairs
  • Assist with event setup, teardown, and operational support as needed
