A day in the role (Menomonee Falls, WI) You start your shift by checking cleaning and restroom supplies, then move through the shop with a floor scrubber, sweeping and mopping as needed. You clear spills and stains quickly, tidy work areas, and give machines a thorough wipe-down. Between rounds, you handle light maintenance—fresh paint where it’s needed, swap out filters, and replace light bulbs. As weather changes, you pitch in outside, picking up litter, tending landscaping, and shoveling snow from sidewalks. Indoors, you rotate through offices, bathrooms, lockers, lunchrooms, and break spaces to keep them spotless. Throughout it all, you follow lockout tagout procedures whenever required to keep everyone safe.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).

Responsibilities

Keep shop floors and aisles clean by sweeping, mopping, and operating a floor scrubber; promptly address spills and stains.
Remove and correctly dispose of trash and recyclables.
Clean machine exteriors and surrounding areas.
Complete simple maintenance tasks such as painting and changing filters and light bulbs.
Maintain exterior areas: pick up litter, support landscaping care, and shovel snow from sidewalks.
Clean offices, bathrooms, lockers, lunchroom, and break areas as assigned.
Track and replenish cleaning and restroom supplies.
Follow lockout tagout procedures.
