About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for Facilities Multi Services Managers (Level K) to support the Test Equipment Management or Tool Storage teams onsite in Everett, Washington on 1st and/or 2nd shift. A manager in this role will develop cross-functional partnerships to achieve team and program goals while developing a work environment that promotes accountability, trust, teamwork, quality and safety. These roles will lead teams of 10+ people. Position Responsibilities: Manages employee activities within the facilities occupation including facilities planning, analysis, project administration, property administration, facilities provisioning, engineering, construction and Plant & Equipment maintenance Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, business partners and direct reports Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes Participates in equipment make/buy decisions; participates in source selection and provides technical oversight of suppliers Manages, develops and motivates employees

Requirements

  • 3+ years in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role
  • 3+ years of experience with process improvement and lean manufacturing
  • 1+ years of experience in using excellent verbal and written communications skills to communicate with leaders and colleagues
  • Able to work any shift based on the needs of the operation (primarily 1st or 2nd shift)

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree or higher
  • 3+ years of experience demonstrating people management skills to include coaching, teaching, and mentoring
  • 1+ years of experience as a self-starter and have the ability to work independently
  • Adaptability, change management, ability to shift priorities quickly
