About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a First-Line Facilities Multi-Services Manager (Level K) to support the Manufacturing Operations Support and Logistics (MOS&L) team onsite in Everett, Washington . You may be required to work off shift, weekends and holidays in support of the facilities work statement as needed. You must participate in weekend duty rotation, approximately one (1) in every 6-8 weeks. This 100% onsite position will lead the Group Coordinator Aircraft Hazardous Energy Activities providing critical support to the Everett Site programs. Position Responsibilities: Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, business partners and direct reports Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes Participates in equipment make/buy decisions; participates in source selection and provides technical oversight of suppliers Manages, develops and motivates employees Manages and understands all aircraft hazardous energy requirements including lockout/tagout (LOTO) policies and procedures

Requirements

  • 3+ years in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role
  • 3+ years of experience with mechanical and electrical testing in the aerospace industry to include proof test, leak test, avionics test and/or functional test
  • 3+ years of experience in fall protection, confined space, hazardous energy, crane safety and incident investigations
  • 1+ years of experience in using excellent verbal and written communications skills to communicate with leaders and colleagues

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree or higher
  • 3+ years of experience demonstrating people management skills to include coaching, teaching, and mentoring
  • 1+ years of experience leading or managing in a union represented environment
  • 1+ years of experience as a self-starter and have the ability to work independently
  • 1+ years of experience in conflict resolution and/or mediation
  • 1+ years of experience managing team workloads (preventative, planned, and reactive service requests & activities)
  • 1+ years of experience with safety regulations and quality standards
  • Ability to demonstrate competencies in conflict resolution, collaboration, process improvement, people development
  • Adaptability, change management, ability to shift priorities quickly
