Facilities Manager - JLL What this job involves - The Facilities Manager is the manager for assigned sites and provides leadership and direction to a team of highly skilled staff in delivering facilities management services in a professional office/warehouse environment. This position is responsible for achieving the expected level of service delivery as described in the Service Level Agreements and measured by Key Performance Indicators. Additionally, the expected levels of service delivery must be achieved at the lowest possible cost, minimally within the prescribed budget for each facility. What your day to day will look like: Lead regional facilities team with strategic vision aligned to client goals, overseeing operations, maintenance, and multiple sites across different functions. Ensure strict adherence to safety procedures and develop training programs to enhance team technical capabilities and foster a safety-first culture. Protect and improve property value through quality operational management, routine inspections, and preventive maintenance oversight. Develop and execute innovative programs that reduce operating costs, increase productivity, and drive continuous improvement using data-driven insights. Create and deliver monthly/quarterly/annual reporting, budget variance analysis, and management plans on time with accuracy. Integrate PDS, OP, and IFM operations seamlessly across sites while maintaining configuration and project documentation post-handover. Manage third-party contractors and vendors, oversee procurement processes, validate invoicing, and leverage JLL tools and best practices for efficient service delivery. Serve as primary client interface, building positive relationships with branch managers and operations teams while ensuring service commitments and satisfaction. Lead employee management including performance reviews, coaching, improvement plans, CMMS training, career development, and promoting diversity and teamwork. Develop zero-based operating budgets meeting KPI targets, achieve regional cost savings goals, manage capital improvement plans, and ensure JLL audit compliance

Requirements

  • 4+ years of facilities management experience managing 200,000+ sq feet coordinating with on-site technicians and vendors
  • Knowledge of real estate, telecommunications, furniture, accounting, and building systems helpful
  • Computer proficiency in CMMS
  • Superior client relationship management skills.
  • Ability to plan and manage within budget and time constraints.
  • Strategic thinker with a strong implementation orientation.
  • Basic understanding of commercial leases, contract documents, and general accounting practices.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration, engineering technology, architecture, or related field
  • Experience in a banking or financial services industry
  • Familiarity coordinating between multiple sites in a region
