About The Position
Kokosing Construction is looking to expand our Facility Maintenance Team with a qualified individual to support our buildings in Ohio and the surrounding states. 1st shift 6:30am – 3pm with some overtime Some travel is required with some overnight stay. New team member must be highly motivated and self-disciplined to complete tasks, make decisions on their own and fully support the need of each division to keep facilities fully functional. Non-Union position
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- HVAC and controls – Boilers – Plumbing – General carpentry
- Electrical experience required with 1 & 3 phase
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Must have a clean driving record
- Meticulous attention to details
- Able to communicate with other team members and report directly to the Facility Manager with accurate details
- Read and understand drawings, blueprints and equipment specifications
- General math skills, computers, welding, hand tools
- Must be able to maintain high level of awareness for a busy project work environment
Responsibilities
- Maintaining and repairing: Heating/Ventilation and Cooling Systems
- Electricity 120V 1-phase to 480V 3-phase troubleshooting and repair
- Plumbing installations and repairs
- Garage door repairs
- General building repairs
- Security, fire suppression systems, building security and access
