About The Position
Essential Functions An individual must be able to successfully perform the essential functions of this position with or without a reasonable accommodation. Communicate effectively in person or by using telecommunications with our clients and fellow co-workers and generally enjoy working with a diverse clientele Perform general maintenance services and repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, electrical, and general maintenance. Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills required Ability to multitask and work autonomously within established procedures and practices with limited supervision, set priorities, meet deadlines, work under pressure and adjust to change. Strong decision-making, organizational and problem-solving skills Requires knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the maintenance field. Must be able to demonstrate some level of independent judgment in planning and accomplishing assignments. Ability to adhere to standard safety procedures and practices Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor Possess a positive attitude Demonstrate leadership qualities Take the lead to help create a positive work environment Demonstrate strong time management skills Advanced maintenance aptitude and skills set Perform all assigned maintenance tasks in a timely manner. Work performed in residential buildings and outdoors. Work under moderate supervision at an active pace. Visually verifies and/or reads information.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- 2-5 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Adapts to changing work demands
- Stays focused on own work when faced with challenges and/or difficulties
- Stays open to and learns from feedback
- Moves, lifts, carries supplies weighing less than 20 pounds without assistance
- Must be physically present in the office as the needs of the business dictates
