Won-Door Corporation is seeking a reliable and skilled Facilities (Industrial) Maintenance Technician I to support our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will perform hands‑on maintenance across multiple trades—including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, equipment repair, HVAC support, groundskeeping, and general facility care. You’ll help keep our plant running smoothly by troubleshooting machinery, completing work orders, addressing building repairs, and maintaining a safe environment indoors and outdoors. Requirements

Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
General knowledge of multiple trades including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC.
Ability to operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other industrial equipment.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with industrial machinery.
Commitment to workplace safety and compliance with OSHA regulations.
High school diploma or GED required.
3–5 years of prior facilities or maintenance experience required.
3–5 years of experience maintaining heavy machinery strongly preferred.

Nice To Haves

Certifications not required but considered useful (e.g., forklift certification, OSHA safety training).
Valid driver’s license preferred.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and heavy machinery.
Perform plumbing repairs and installations including PVC, copper, and metal pipe fitting.
Execute electrical repairs for both building and machinery systems; run conduit and work with single-phase, three-phase, and low-voltage DC.
Conduct basic carpentry work such as drywall installation, mudding, painting, and door repairs.
Maintain exterior grounds, including lawn care, snow removal, garden lighting, and stone wall repairs.
Operate, maintain, and repair forklifts including hydraulic, electric, and engine components.
Work safely from ladders and scissor lifts at heights up to 25 feet.
Assist with HVAC system maintenance, including heaters, air conditioners, and evaporative coolers.
Perform welding and fabrication tasks for both wood and metal materials.
Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed in a clean, organized, and safe manner.
Follow safety procedures and wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Assist with facility cleaning and support minor janitorial duties as needed.
Complete and document work orders accurately and promptly.
Demonstrate a willingness to take on both small and large projects with focus and care.
