ONLY APPLICANTS SELECTED FOR AN INTERVIEW WILL BE NOTIFIED To perform semiskilled labor in the construction, maintenance and repair of Recreation Center facilities and grounds including such skills as flooring, carpentry, painting, and structural maintenance; and to perform a variety of technical tasks relative to assigned area. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (This list is not intended to detail all aspects of the assigned work but is representative of the job’s overall responsibilities.) Assists in maintaining a wide range of facilities, equipment, vehicles, and tools related in the assigned area of responsibility which may flex and change due to association needs. Performs routine preventative maintenance functions on Assess and ensures that assigned work areas work area are restored and cleaned prior to leaving job site. Utilize all appropriate safety precautions related to the work being performed. Maintain department vehicles; wash trucks; check oil, tire pressures, check lights and signals for proper operation and alert supervisor of any outstanding items that require additional support or repair. Assist in performing general maintenance duties including change light bulbs; replacing ballast; install and repair hardware, and plumbing fixtures; perform minor concrete work or duties including light carpentry; roof repairs; replace ceiling tile; install and repair hardware; perform minor asphalt repair. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, installation instructions and procedure manuals. Use of multiple measurement devices such as tape measures in varying unit outputs including whole and partial numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Maintains consistent record of acceptable attendance and punctuality according to policy guidelines.
