About The Position

The Facilities & Maintenance Lead is responsible for coordinating and performing maintenance, repair, and facility improvement activities in support of the organization’s production, warehouse, and office operations. This role ensures the facility, equipment, and work environment remain safe, operational, and well maintained. The Lead provides guidance to maintenance personnel and contractors, prioritizes maintenance projects, and works closely with leadership to support operational needs.

  • Must be able to grip and operate hand tools with a minimum of 50 in/lbs. of force
  • Must be able to grip fine contacts and wires with one hand and operate crimping tool with the other hand
  • Must be able to see fine components and have manual dexterity to properly place and solder these components.
  • Safety Glasses must be worn at all times when in certain production areas.
  • Enclosed non-skid shoes must be worn at all times when in the production areas.
  • Other PPE, such as goggles, welding hoods, gloves, fall protection must be worn where required as needed

  • Experience coordinating maintenance projects or leading maintenance tasks preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on facility systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building infrastructure.
  • Conduct regular inspections of warehouse, production areas, equipment, and facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and coordinate corrective repairs as needed.
  • Maintain and repair warehouse machinery and facility equipment.
  • Coordinate and prioritize maintenance tasks, projects, and daily work assignments.
  • Provide guidance and support to maintenance staff or contractors working on facility projects.
  • Assist with scheduling maintenance work to minimize disruption to operations.
  • Work with leadership to identify facility improvement opportunities and long-term maintenance planning.
  • Assist with equipment installation, relocation, and decommissioning.
  • Coordinate preparation of facility space, utilities, and equipment setup for production needs.
  • Ensure machinery and facility infrastructure meet operational and safety requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment across all facilities.
  • Participate in planning and implementing safety and plant protection activities.
  • Ensure maintenance work complies with company safety policies and OSHA standards.
  • Identify and address potential safety hazards related to facility conditions.
  • Monitor maintenance supplies, tools, and replacement parts inventory.
  • Recommend purchases and requisitions for maintenance materials and equipment.
  • Maintain maintenance records and documentation for repairs and inspections.
