The primary location of this position is on the main Cullowhee, NC campus. The primary purpose of the position is to provide the technical capability needed for maintenance, repair, and calibration of central heating and air conditioning systems. Responsibilities also include the maintenance and repair of all other types of ventilation and mechanical refrigeration equipment. Position also requires work on steam distribution and associated controls. Normal hours of duty are from 8 A.M. to 5 P.M., Monday through Friday. This position also functions as an "on-call" plumber/HVAC mechanic during weekends, holidays, and other predesignated occasions. Such duty is rotated among all employees of the Plumbing/HVAC Shop to which this position is assigned. Requirements- Valid North Carolina driver's license. EPA Certification, Type I, II, III, or Universal Technician. Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
