About The Position

Responsible for maintaining buildings and property in quality condition. Repairs and conducts maintenance of buildings, furniture, fixtures, and equipment. Directs projects and tasks when the Manager is not available.

Requirements

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred. Trade school degree is highly preferred.
2 years related experience with general working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and other repair work required.
Must be able to effectively use a computer as well as various software including Microsoft Office Suite.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
Must be self-motivated, organized, and customer service oriented.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills necessary. Ability to read and interpret manuals, instructions, and schematics required.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
Must be able to maintain an appropriate Gaming License.
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

Promptly handles all maintenance problems within the department areas of responsibility.
Assist Facilities Manager in daily operations of repair and maintenance by ensuring other facilities staff complete daily assignments. Reports concerns and high priority issues to department manager in a timely manner.
Ensure that premises and equipment are well maintained, clean and safe.
Follows procedures as pertains to delegation of tasks, use of equipment, safety, preventive maintenance, and repairs.
Ensures the efficient and prompt handling of all department work orders and requests.
Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment, with continual emphasis on promoting employee health and safety.
Adheres to all safety requirements and company safety policies. Trains other techs in proper safety techniques. Ensures all safety standards are addressed, and possible safety hazards are quickly resolved.
Advises management of repairs, replacements, and maintenance necessary in assigned areas.
Responsible for the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Follows all safety standards and reports any safety hazards or corrects them immediately. Follows and understands National Fire Protection standards and SDS policy and procedures.
Works within budgetary constraints to be cost effective and efficient.
Must be able to work the required work schedule, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays to include after hours on call rotation. Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.
Works physically onsite and provides excellent guest service to both internal and external guests as required.
