About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Facilities Engineer to join our Facilities Engineering team. In this role, you will ensure the reliability and efficiency of HVAC and other mechanical systems that support semiconductor manufacturing operations. Your work will directly impact production uptime, energy efficiency, and long-term facility sustainability through expert analysis, design, and system optimization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC system design or related mechanical engineering work (exceptional entry-level candidates will be considered).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Understanding of Building Automation System software, preferably Johnson Controls Facility Explorer and Niagara N4 Supervisory Control.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Facilities Engineering within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of cleanroom mechanical systems and semiconductor facility operations.
  • Project management experience with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate performance and capacity constraints for all physical plant and facility systems.
  • Design and implement expansions or improvements to enhance system performance and reliability.
  • Develop and oversee maintenance programs to maximize system uptime and operational stability.
  • Create and program custom sequences of operation to optimize plant efficiency.
  • Program Building Automation Control software to support daily facility and manufacturing operations.
  • Generate and maintain technical documentation, including specifications and operating instructions.
  • Provide project management support for infrastructure and capital improvement projects.
  • Support company initiatives, including quality, safety, environmental management, CQI, 5S, yield management, and cost containment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet organizational goals.
