About The Position

Tolin Mechanical, an established, well recognized and respected HVAC service contractor, is looking for an experienced Facility Engineer to join our Mid-Atlantic team at National Harbor. We are seeking a candidate who meets the qualifications listed below. We have a solid team of experienced and respected technicians. Our business continues to grow, and we are looking for another solid technician that is interested in a long-term position and who will fit well into our team. Facility Engineers are focused on service and delivering long-term technical solutions for our clients. They maintain, monitor, and perform preventative maintenance and continuous operation of all building systems including HVAC, plumbing, and more.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to develop rapport and productive working relationships with clients, vendors, and co-workers.
• Values and display exceptional customer service
• Strong organization skills
• Over 18 years of age
• High School diploma or GED
• 1-2+ years of experience in a building engineer capacity
• Basic tool and maintenance skills
• Strong written and verbal English skills
• Comfortable working on computers including email, Excel, Word
• Valid driver's license with driving record in good standing

Responsibilities

• Preventive Maintenance
• Troubleshooting
• Mechanical: HVAC, plumbing, controls
• Electrical: lighting, generators, primary switch gear
• Hot water systems
• Refrigeration
• Hot water heaters
• Pumps, valves, piping and filters
• Variable Frequency Drives
• Humidifiers
• Maintain records and monitor equipment
• Perform tests and rounds on building systems
