About The Position

The Facilities Dispatcher plays a key role in supporting both guests and internal teams by managing maintenance requests, ensuring timely communication and resolution of issues. This position requires strong multitasking, customer service, and organizational skills to maintain smooth operations in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required
• Experience in the hospitality industry or similar environment

Nice To Haves

• 6+ months of prior dispatch experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage computerized maintenance management systems to prioritize, manage and dispatch maintenance team, complete assigned administrative tasks on a consistent basis
• Recognize required needs of a fast-paced environment by using good judgment and the ability to multi-task; own all requests and complaints; resolve issues immediately and follow up to ensure the guest’s satisfaction; answer incoming calls and assist when necessary or direct calls to appropriate areas
• Practice teamwork, create a positive work environment, greet fellow employees and thank them when they lend assistance; anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, no matter how busy or time of day; prioritize guest requests/dispatches
• Knowledgeable of Department and Hotel goals; knowledgeable of hotel information to answer guest inquiries, and work under minimal supervision to complete tasks in a timely manner
• Maintain a constant awareness of personal and property cleanliness, safety and accident prevention
• Perform other job-related duties as requested
