Facilities Capital Planning Engineer

Develop and manage Facilities capital plans to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of infrastructure supporting Technology Development (TD), High-Volume Manufacturing (HVM), and non-manufacturing buildings. Partner with Finance, Operations, Design, Construction, and Global Facilities to prioritize projects, prepare business cases, and maintain governance through CALM/CAPAP and related processes. Build and maintain the capital project portfolio, present monthly funding requests to executive leadership. Coordinate with the US Expansion Team and construction teams to comply with COW (Change Order Workflow) and SOW (Scope of Work) processes through contracts with general contractors. Partner with Global Facilities for alignment on standards and funding priorities. Conduct Gantt Chart Reviews to assemble project scope and timelines, ensuring timely completion and cashflow aligned with contractual payment terms. Manage budget adherence for contractual purposes; adjust budgets based on company needs and actual spend vs. projections. Drive efficient budget allocation and initiate cost increases or excess funds as needed. Coordinate with Project Services and Design Teams to ensure scope accuracy and timely execution. Support governance mechanisms (RPN-based prioritization, FRI process) and ensure compliance with internal controls. Work with system owners to review equipment nearing end of useful life and initiate replacement projects to ensure reliability and continuous operations. Apply company approved AI tools to streamline capital portfolio planning, accelerating scenario development, prioritization, and forecasting—while continuously piloting new AI use cases that improve cycle time, accuracy, and decision quality across the capital lifecycle. Champion EHS, compliance, and design-for-maintainability considerations within capital proposals. Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or a related field.
