About The Position

The Facilities Associate is responsible for cleaning and servicing assigned
areas around the warehouse, tending to machines that shred and/or compress and
bind paper by-products and assigns, inventories, stores, and distribute tools.

Requirements

• 1-2yrs. experience in a distribution environment.
• Light Equipment/machine set up and operation. Electric pallet jack
• Must have good attention to detail, be thorough and organized

Nice To Haves

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1-2 yrs. previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Satisfactorily pass EPJ driving training program or demonstrate safe handling of EPJ in an on-site test.

Responsibilities

• Daily follow safety and housekeeping rules for cleaning the facility interior and exterior.
• Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products to standards.
• Stack finished packaged items, or wrap protective material around each item, and pack the items in cartons or containers.
• Secure finished packaged items by attaching a fastener.
• Maintain inventories of materials, equipment, or products.
• Ensure RF guns and radios are checked in, safety signs are checked back in, and processes are followed; supplies are stocked, and delivered to correct employees. And filing is current.
• Maintain all equipment issued by attendant ex. Batteries are charged and cleaned.
• Performs other related duties as requested.
