About The Position

This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Requirements

Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying.
Basic knowledge of painting and maintenance techniques.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Painting: Perform touch-ups and minor painting tasks to maintain the appearance of the facility.
Garbage Collection: Regularly pick up and dispose of garbage from designated areas, including outside the building.
Supply Replenishment: Ensure that soap dispensers, paper towel holders, and other supplies are consistently stocked.
General Maintenance: Assist with basic maintenance tasks as needed to ensure the facility remains in good working order.
Clean Sauna: Maintain the cleanliness of the sauna.
Pressure Wash various areas around the Y (indoor and outdoor)
Clean Private Changing Room Drains: Perform weekly cleaning of the drains in private changing rooms.
Change Shower Curtains
Corrosion Control: Address and restore areas affected by corrosion on the pool deck.
Clean Drinking Fountain Trays: Perform weekly cleaning of the trays in drinking fountains.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential always.
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor(s).
