Our Core Values Teamwork Patients First Kindness and Compassion Do What's Right Be Your Best Make Every Minute Count Position Overview The Facilities Assistant supports the day-to-day operations of Dental Excellence Group’s facilities to ensure our offices remain safe, functional, and welcoming for both patients and team members. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, this role assists with coordinating maintenance requests, supporting preventative maintenance programs, and helping manage vendors, supplies, and facility-related projects. The Facilities Assistant plays an important role in maintaining organized, efficient, and well-maintained environments across all locations. By helping ensure our facilities operate smoothly, this position contributes directly to the exceptional patient experience and operational excellence that define Dental Excellence Group.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Facilities Technicians with day-to-day facility operations across all office locations
  • Respond to and help coordinate maintenance requests, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution
  • Support preventative maintenance programs by scheduling inspections, documenting activities, and tracking completion
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for repairs, deliveries, and facility services
  • Perform basic facility support tasks such as equipment setup, minor adjustments, organization of storage areas, and workspace preparation
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance requests, vendor services, and facility documentation
  • Assist with facility improvement projects, office moves, and equipment installations
  • Help monitor facility supplies, tools, and materials and assist with ordering when needed
  • Conduct routine facility walk-throughs to identify potential issues related to safety, cleanliness, or functionality
  • Support implementation of process improvements related to facilities operations
  • Help ensure responsible stewardship and efficient use of company resources
