About The Position

The Maintenance Coordinator’s primary responsibility is to support Maintenance, Repair & Operation (MRO) as directed at supporting business needs reporting to the site Facility Manager. The role requires the above to be accomplished within Tecomet’s principles of continuous improvement, customer driven innovation and a win first culture, while meeting company financial and other performance metrics.

Requirements

  • Minimum three (3) years of experience with associate degree.
  • Or five (5) to seven (7) years of experience with high school or GED shall also be considered.
  • Current Driver’s License is required.
  • Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent understanding of GxP manufacturing is required.
  • Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic equipment and systems is required.

Nice To Haves

  • An associate degree in engineering technology, maintenance technology, or similar program or High School diploma or GED based on below experience.
  • SMRP or CRL Certificate or similar.
  • CMMS certificates.
  • Knowledge of TPM principles and practices preferred.
  • Basic understanding of inventory control practices (FIFO, Kanban, JIT, etc.)
  • Basic CMMS functions are desired.

Responsibilities

  • Communicates with equipment manufacturers, vendors, and third parties to obtain information on spare / replacement parts.
  • Obtain price and delivery quotations from suppliers.
  • Maintain related MRO files for key equipment assets.
  • Support expediting overdue/late deliveries as necessary.
  • Primary custodian for the CMMS.
  • Participate in stockroom layouts, set up cabinets and shelves, and arrange drawers to maximize space utilization and to provide room for future growth.
  • Conduct periodic CMMS audits.
  • Drive company truck to pick up / deliver parts locally.
  • Ship parts out for return or repair to include packaging up parts, taking package to the shipping department, and completing all paperwork and phone calls to coordinate pick-up as necessary.
  • Responsible for entering capital expenditure projects into the system and track approvals and expenditures.
  • Tracks all invoices received for the facilities maintenance.
  • Maintaining and updating of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), Assets, Inventory, PMs, WO schedules.
  • Assign part numbers and enter all parts information in CMMS.
  • Enter Preventive Maintenance (PM) instructions into the CMMS.
  • Enter completed PM work order information into CMMS for data collection.
  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and technical documents.
  • Write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
  • Works in conjunction with and support outside suppliers and contractors.
  • Maintains confidentiality.
  • Inputs all new employees into the secure door system and makes security badges.
  • Work well under pressure and remain flexible to changing schedules and demands.
  • Communicate with outside contractors providing services such as equipment moves, decommission, recommission, setup and alignment as well as any services above our capability internally.
  • Provides clerical assistance to the Plant Manager, EHS Manager, and Facility Team Leader.
  • Assists and greets in-coming guests for the Warsaw facilities.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required by management.
