Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
1-2 years working in facilities maintenance or similar field is an asset
Excellent oral and written communication and documentation is needed
Attention to detail and strong customer service skills is crucial
Must be flexible working mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
Frequent standing, occasional walking and/or climb stairs
Frequent lifting, occasional carrying of items up to 60 lbs.
Frequent bending, twisting, and reaching
Occasional pushing and pulling
Normal vision and hearing
Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity
Prolonged performing of repetitive work
Strong organizational and analytical skills a must.
Ability to work indoors or outdoors as needed
Ability to prioritize work and multiple projects to meet deadlines and deliver excellent results.
Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) with team members and contract manufacturers (domestic and international).

Responsibilities

Painting interior and exterior
Assist other contractors and technicians when on-site
Maintain cleanliness of work area
Respond and prioritize calls to assess and repair item(s)
Custodial work may be assigned to include but not limited to: Sweep and mop floors
Empty waste receptacles and replace liners
Maintain outside walking areas including sweeping debris
Vacuuming offices, hallways and floor mat in walkways
Clean and polish fixtures
Gather bags of cans for recycling pickup
Clean windows and mirrors
Dust office and front lobby furniture
Disinfect all surfaces in break room
Clean, disinfect and polish all drinking fountains
Polish all chrome work and door handles
Observe and apply organizational policies, laws, rules and regulations
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
Participate in and complete all company-required training
Maintain the proper use, cleaning and storage of all tools
Address other duties as assigned by management
