Valgroup is hiring a Facilities Assistant to support our manufacturing facility in Findlay, Ohio . We are one of the largest plastics producers and recyclers in the world. Requirements

Maintenance experience (preferred)
Problem-solving
Safe work behaviors
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift

Responsibilities

Performs routine maintenance on building interior and exterior
Completes building inspections in a timely manner
Manages the waste (dumpsters and recycles) throughout the plant
Perform miscellaneous jobs such as painting, hanging photos, changing lightbulbs, etc.
Assist with inspections and maintenance of safety related equipment such as fire extinguishers, sprinklers, heaters, e-lights, hoists, eye wash stations, etc.
Run errands for facility maintenance parts
Assist with facility maintenance such as dust clean-up, floor maintenance, clean windows, etc.
Painting lines on floors in warehouses and production areas
Supports maintenance department and safety department when needed
Works in a safe manner and recognizes unsafe situations
Takes appropriate action to ensure safety of themselves and others in building
Driving of Forklift
Assist other projects and work as needed
