About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Facilities and Automation Manager to support our manufacturing operations by leading plant engineering, equipment maintenance, material handling engineering, automation initiatives, and special facility projects. This role ensures that production equipment, facility systems, and automation technologies operate at peak efficiency to maintain safe, reliable, and cost‑effective manufacturing performance. This position oversees a team including a Maintenance Supervisor, Automation Engineer, and Manufacturing Engineers, and collaborates with cross‑functional groups across Corporate, ESG, and SSG.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in facility management, operations, manufacturing, or automation.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.

Nice To Haves

  • Budgeting and project management experience preferred.
  • Experience with automation technologies, robotics, PLCs, and/or digital workflow tools is a plus.
  • Ability to lead teams and collaborate across global regions.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and lead special projects involving facility and production equipment to support manufacturing needs.
  • Develop and manage training programs for maintenance personnel to ensure proper maintenance of key production equipment.
  • Provide support for day‑to‑day operational issues in manufacturing departments.
  • Source, purchase, and coordinate repairs for operating equipment, service parts, and supplies.
  • Develop and coordinate preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime.
  • Establish and maintain record‑keeping systems for orderly, scheduled equipment maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate layouts and drawings for plant facility and production equipment.
  • Identify automation opportunities across manufacturing, workflows, data processes, and reporting.
  • Lead the design, selection, implementation, and change management of automation technologies (e.g., robotics, RPA, MES, digital dashboards, machine monitoring).
  • Implement and support robotics, PLCs, and workflow automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, Power BI, PM software).
  • Oversee construction projects including plant additions and modifications.
  • Perform other project‑based duties as assigned.
