About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fabrication Quality Superintendent (Level M) to join our team in Portland, Oregon . This role is critical in ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained throughout the fabrication processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality, with a proven ability to navigate conflicts and foster collaborative relationships.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior executives, customers, stakeholders, peers, and business partners.
  • 10+ years of experience in a leadership role leading diverse teams, initiatives, or projects to meet business objectives and influence change.
  • 5+ years of experience in leading and influencing people in a matrix organization.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in operations or quality management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Experience in executive reporting and presenting quality metrics to senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate conflicts and build strong partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee inspection processes to ensure all parts meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Lead quality investigations to identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and engineering, to drive quality improvements and resolve quality-related issues.
  • Prepare and present executive reports on quality performance, trends, and improvement initiatives.
  • Navigate conflicts effectively, facilitating discussions to reach mutually beneficial solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company quality standards.
