Just look up. Are you ready to go beyond? Pratt and Whitney has an exciting new opportunity F117 Program Finance Manager within our Military Engines Fighter & Mobility (F&M) Finance Team. This position will be an onsite position based out of our East Hartford, Connecticut campus location. What You Will Do: The F117 Program Finance Manager provides oversight to ensure program financial goals are met. This position will support strategic and tactical business operations for the F117 program. The duties and responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to the management and oversight of the following:

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and 8+ years of experience in finance, accounting or business support role within commercial or military engines aftermarket; OR an advanced degree in and 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting or business support role within commercial or military engines aftermarket.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Working knowledge of SAP.
  • Ability to analyze/solve problems and exercise creativity to develop and/or implement practical solutions.
  • Ability to work multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • U.S. citizenship is required , as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access certain necessary systems.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Support and Inventory Management (Inventory Lead).
  • Financial forecasting and planning.
  • Program cost tracking, trending and data analyses.
  • Support monthly financial closing.
  • Support Program CDRL deliverables.
  • Provide detailed analysis/explanations for financial performance.
  • Ensure the F117 program adheres to financial compliance policies.
  • Standard work updates and documentation.
  • Potential to get involved with the F139 (Tanker) program financials.
