About The Position

This position offers a competitive compensation structure, including a base starting at $18+/hour plus 10%–20% commission on F&I products (tiered scale). Our client is seeking a driven and customer-focused F&I Manager to join their team. This role is essential in delivering a seamless purchasing experience, securing financing, and maximizing profitability through strong lender relationships and product offerings.

Requirements

  • Previous F&I or automotive finance experience preferred
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of dealership management systems (DMS) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Sales Team to secure financing solutions for customers
  • Work with multiple financial institutions to obtain competitive rates and approvals
  • Meet with customers to clearly explain financing options, terms, and available protection products
  • Present and sell backend products, including OEM and AGWS offerings
  • Prepare all deal paperwork accurately and ensure proper execution of documents
  • Collect deposits and finalize transactions
  • Submit and track all paperwork for funding
  • Maintain and update F&I logs for all deals
  • Ensure timely funding of each transaction
  • Collaborate daily with Sales Team, F&I Director, and Sales Manager
  • Stay compliant with all State of Alabama title procedures and required certifications/testing
