About The Position

F&I Business Manager . The perfect candidate is honest, motivated, outgoing, and a self-starter. Candidates must be willing to provide the highest level of Guest service. The F&I Business Manager is expected to uphold the highest ethical standards in every aspect of the job. Management personnel require strong communication skills to deal with guests, employees, and vendors, as they represent the dealership. Working within the automotive retail industry often requires having to work extended hours, evenings, and weekends to achieve their goals.

Requirements

  • It is recommended that the F&I Business Manager have at least two years in a high volume and fast-paced dealership environment.
  • F&I Business Managers are required to not only understand and keep abreast of the federal, state, and local regulations that affect their operations but must also comply with these regulations.
  • The candidate must successfully pass a background screening and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

  • Menu selling experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Selects appropriate lender, secures approval, obtains Guest commitment, and finalizes delivery
  • Provides Guests with thorough explanation of aftermarket products and extended warranties.
  • Converts cash deals to finance.
  • Manages placement of contracts while maximizing F&I PVR
  • Checks all paperwork for correct Guest information to include; title, lien information, taxes, etc., before forwarding to accounting.
  • Provides sales team and sales managers with current information about finance programs continually.
  • Assists sales desk in structuring deals when necessary
  • Manages contracts in transit and ensures funding with constant communication with the business office
  • Tracks and monitors F&I PVR, product penetration and lender penetrations
  • Participates weekly in sales meetings regarding F&I training and issues
  • Assists General Manager and Sales Manager in training sales staff
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
