About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced BMW Sales Manager to lead our new and pre-owned vehicle sales operations. The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader with a proven track record of driving performance, building high-performing teams, and delivering outstanding guest satisfaction. This individual will play a key role in achieving departmental profitability and growth while upholding the highest ethical standards and commitment to the BMW brand.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of automotive sales management experience, BMW or luxury brand experience preferred
  • Proven ability to lead a successful sales team with a strong focus on performance and guest experience
  • In-depth understanding of dealership operations, sales processes, and financial metrics
  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with dealership CRM and DMS systems (Dealertrack, VinSolutions,VAuto)
  • Ability to analyze data, manage inventory, and make strategic decisions
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage monthly and annual sales forecasts, gross and operating profit targets, and department expense budgets.
  • Lead and mentor the sales team, including hiring, training, coaching, and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Facilitate weekly sales meetings and continuous product and sales training to ensure team growth and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with new and used vehicle sales managers to set and achieve departmental objectives.
  • Oversee the display, merchandising, and promotion of new and pre-owned inventory, ensuring all marketing initiatives are pre-approved and aligned with brand standards.
  • Manage vehicle inventory levels to support sales volume and market demand, including ordering and acquisition.
  • Work closely with the General Manager to review performance reports and implement short- and long-term strategic plans.
  • Handle guest escalations professionally, maintaining the highest level of guest satisfaction and retention.
  • Audit trade-in appraisals to ensure accuracy, consistency, and profitability.
  • Manage demo and AMP (Alternate Mobility Program) vehicles and ensure all associated records are maintained accurately in Dealertrack, Service, and accounting systems.
