About The Position
Join the Mile High Flea Market team, Denver’s favorite flea market for over 40 years. We are looking for energetic, customer-focused individuals to support our concessions operations and help create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for every guest. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, staying active, and being part of a fast-paced, outdoor environment. Position Summary As a Concessions Team Member, you will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service across various food and beverage locations. Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, handling transactions, preparing and serving food, and supporting overall stand operations. You may work in a variety of roles including cashier, food preparation, order fulfillment, or beverage service depending on business needs. Requirements
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors
- Weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday) required
- TIPS Certification required for positions involving alcohol service (or willingness to obtain)
- Food Handler Certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Reliable and dependable
- Willingness to learn and take on multiple responsibilities
Nice To Haves
- Previous food service experience is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and beverage orders accurately
- Handle cash and process transactions
- Prepare and serve food and drinks in a timely manner
- Provide food support by assembling and handing out orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and operational procedures
- Upsell menu items and promote combo meals when appropriate
- Deliver a positive guest experience through strong customer engagement
- Perform additional duties as assigned
