JOB SUMMARY This position would primarily work AM Shifts but looking for a candidate with open availability to work AM/ Mid/ PM Shifts to meet the needs of the F&B outlets. The F&B Supervisor would assist in the execution breakfast service, amenity planning / delivery, mini-bar, room service, pool, restaurant and bar operations. The F&B Supervisor would be integral in administering training with staff to ensure company guidelines are upheld.

Requirements

Experience in F&B and/or hospitality preferred
Leadership experience a plus
High School diploma or equivalent
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Effective time management and problem-solving skills
Proficiency POS Systems to include TABIT – Mini-Bar System – Stay in Touch and Alice systems is a plus
Ability to work well with a team and demonstrate attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills and interpersonal abilities
TABC and Food Handler Certifications
Guest focused, optimistic, self-disciplined, self-starter.
Problem solver, self-motivated, ability to learn more skills to better serve guests and the company.
Ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of written and oral instructions.
Multitask-oriented.
Ability to overcome unexpected obstacles through resourceful means.

Able to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.
Attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.

Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, follow-through courtesy, cooperativeness, and work with a minimum of supervision.

Responsibilities

Leading the F&B team with training to include administering monthly menu knowledge and core value test.
Assist Director of F&B maintaining Training Manuals with Training Topics.
Ensure guest satisfaction
Lead team by example and ensure team members are following hotel guidelines
Work with Director of F&B to oversee supplies, inventory and purchasing
Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas
Display courteous behavior with guests and team members
Report any unsafe conditions immediately and complete incident reports as needed
Ensure hotel equipment is in proper working condition
Perform any additional duties assigned by the supervisor
F&B Supervisor will oversee and train servers as well as minibar attendants to ensure hotel standards are met.
The F&B Supervisor will also be involved in interviewing, hiring, training, and planning staff development.
Administering effective security processes and maintaining legally required health and safety procedures.
