F&B Staff- Cashier

The Cashier will use cash registers, electronic scanners, and related equipment to conduct monetary transactions with customers in the F&B department.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Prior cashier experience
- Occasional travel may be required
- Prolonged periods of standing and working a cash register.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds.
- Ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods of time.
- This job operates in a restaurant setting.
- May need to work nights, weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Greets Customers
- Taking customer orders at the counter, and on the phone
- Accepts money in the form of cash, checks, credit or debit cards for items purchased; validates checks
- Assists customers with questions or price discrepancies
- Assists wait staff as needed
- Ensures accurate transactions by balancing cash register at the beginning and end of shift, and sales at the end of shift
- Create a daily sales balance report sheet by the end of day
- Identifies prices of products and services and tabulates bills with available equipment
- Assists customers in resolving complaints or providing information.
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
