About The Position

The Food & Beverage Manager oversees daily operations of both Kahill’s Chophouse dining room and the banquet/event operations at the South Sioux City Marriott Riverfront. Reporting to the Director of Food & Beverage, this role ensures exceptional guest experience, service standards, and a productive, professional F&B team.

Requirements

F&B experience, including full-service dining and/or banquet/event operations, preferred
Prior management experience required
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Proficient in English (reading, writing, math) and basic computer skills
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs., stand/walk for extended periods, and work flexible shifts
Must maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance at all times

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Manage dining room and banquet operations, ensuring quality service and guest satisfaction
Supervise all events from setup to cleanup; ensure compliance with banquet event orders (BEOs)
Partner with the Culinary Team on execution for daily dining and events
Interview, hire, train, and develop team members; maintain adequate staffing levels
Coach and develop staff to uphold service standards and menu/facility knowledge
Promote a cooperative work environment that maximizes morale and productivity
Maintain relationships with guests, clients, and partners; support business initiatives
Coordinate with the culinary team to ensure flawless restaurant and event execution
Other duties as assigned
