About The Position

As a Food and Beverage Host you'll be the welcoming face that sets the stage for unforgettable dining experiences, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for guests to indulge in culinary excellence. Anakeesta is seeking Hosts for our Cliff Top Grill. This role presents a positive first impression. This position greets guests upon arrival, informs guests of potential wait times, monitors a waiting list, shows guests to their table, and bid guests farewell as they leave.

Requirements

Positive Attitude
Must be at least 16 years old
Available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.; can push, pull, grasp, lift, kneel, stoop, climb, balance, crouch, crawl and stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

Greets all guests upon arrival.
Escorts guests to appropriate table based on rotation system.
Presents menus to the guests and informs them of any relevant information.
Maintains a waiting list and call ahead program.
Performs all opening, shift change, and closing duties.
Follows alcohol awareness procedures.
Keeps host/foyer area clean and organized.
Ensures all menus are clean.
Cleans, sanitizes, restocks, and stores host items according to company procedures.
Keeps immediate supervisor aware of all issues or problems of significance and takes prompt corrective action where necessary.
Must be able to clearly communicate guests’ needs to servers, bartenders, and managers.
Must be able to calmly address guest concerns and notify a manager.
Performs all duties in a timely manner in accordance with established company policies.
Works as a team player by assisting other employees with duties as necessary or when the shift becomes exceedingly busy.
Informs servers, managers, and kitchen of large party arrivals.
Attends all necessary F&B training classes
Other duties as assigned.
