About The Position

Mile High Flea Market, Denver’s oldest and favorite flea market for over 40 years, is seeking confident, experienced Concessions Stand Leads to join our team. We are more than just a place to shop, it is a place to have fun, spend time with friends, and most importantly, enjoy great food! We are seeking motivated and dependable leaders to help deliver exceptional food service experiences to our guests. The Concessions Stand Leads are responsible for the overall management and daily operation of a food concession stand. This role ensures high-quality food service, excellent guest experiences, and adherence to all operational, safety, and sanitation standards. The Stand Lead will train, support, and guide team members while maintaining efficient stand operations. Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Manager Food Safety Certification required
  • TIPS Certification required
  • Previous leadership or kitchen supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and team leadership skills
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
  • Flexible schedule with availability for early mornings, weekends, and holidays (full weekend availability required)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in food service, hospitality, or catering
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to follow and enforce recipes and operational standards
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the concession stand
  • Train, coach, and develop team members
  • Assist with scheduling to ensure proper staffing levels
  • Support payroll control with Food Service leadership
  • Ensure all equipment is operational and the stand is ready to open
  • Monitor food quality and ensure consistency with standards
  • Enforce food safety, health department, and OSHA guidelines
  • Maintain cleanliness of the stand and surrounding areas
  • Anticipate business levels and adjust staffing and inventory accordingly
  • Assist in menu development and product offerings
  • Lead by example and perform all stand functions as needed
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are followed
