Position Summary The Assistant Concessions Stand Lead supports the Stand Lead in overseeing daily operations of a food concession stand. This role helps ensure high-quality food service, excellent guest experiences, and compliance with all safety and operational standards. You will assist with team leadership, training, and execution while stepping into a leadership role as needed. Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Previous food service or hospitality experience required
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Flexible schedule with full weekend and holiday availability required
- TIPS Certification (required or willingness to obtain)
- Food Handler Certification (required or willingness to obtain)
- Driver’s License required for driving company carts
- Friendly, reliable, and team-oriented attitude
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to follow processes, recipes, and operational standards
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience supporting a lead or supervisor in a food service or hospitality setting preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
Responsibilities
- Support the Stand Lead in daily operations of the concession stand
- Assist with training, coaching, and supporting team members
- Help ensure the stand is fully operational and ready for service
- Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation standards
- Enforce food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines
- Provide excellent guest service and resolve issues as they arise
- Assist with scheduling and ensuring proper staffing levels
- Monitor inventory and assist with stocking and preparation
- Maintain cleanliness of the stand and surrounding areas
- Step into leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Stand Lead
- Perform other duties assigned
