Join Mile High Flea Market, Denver’s favorite flea market for over 40 years, as a Concessions Cashier. We are looking for reliable, customer-focused individuals who enjoy working with people and can thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. This role is ideal for someone who has cashiering experience, strong multitasking skills, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service. Position Summary As a Concessions Cashier, you are the first point of contact for guests. You will greet customers, take orders, process transactions, and support food service operations while ensuring a smooth and efficient guest experience. Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Previous cashiering and cash handling experience required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and working outdoors
- Full weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday) required
- TIPS Certification required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with transactions
- Ability to stay organized and focused during high-volume periods
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Reliable and punctual
Nice To Haves
- Food Handler Certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash, card, and digital transactions with accuracy
- Maintain an organized and efficient checkout area
- Communicate orders clearly with kitchen or food prep staff
- Assist with order handoff and basic food support as needed
- Upsell menu items and promote combo meals
- Maintain cleanliness and follow all food safety standards
- Provide a positive and efficient guest experience at all times
